xile: encrypted backups and version history of local data files

Tool for keeping track of files as they evolve over time in a secure manner. Files are always encrypted on backup disk and version histories are easily accessible. A typical use case may be a project involving files/data that are changing over time and the files are sensitive or private. It may be a code base or data workflow backed up to a thumb drive. Advantages of this are portability (the drive can move between work stations easily), security (if the drive is lost or stolen, there is no data breach), minimal copy of data (only out of sync files are updated/transferred). In tandem with versioning, it safeguards against hardware failure or accidental data loss.
